Multiple Choice Finals

Just keeping my head above water,
trying to,
not really swimming
or simply afloat
I have my hands full
doggie paddling ,
trying not to show
that I may be seriously drowning.
I don’t want to cry Help!
or Wolf!!!!!
I don’t know if I‘m drowning.
If I am, there may be no one
near enough to save me
no matter what I cry.
This is not time for saving face
or screaming underwater.
